Co., Town of Auburn, p. 686, living with the William COTTON
family.

This family appears on the 1870 US Census, Algoma Township,
Winnebago Co., WI, pg. 10, dwelling 65, film 0553244.

Freeman also appears on the 1870 US Census, State of Maine,
Androscoggin Co., Town of Auburn, p. 47 with his father's
family, along with his other adult siblings.

The family also appears on the 1880 US Census, Omro Township,
Winnebago Co., WI, E.D. 210, pg. 186, film 1255453.

Christopher served in Co. C, 9th Maine Volunteer Infantry from
22 Sep 1861 to 22 Sep 1864. He was twice wounded in action.
